First of all, a giant thank you to the Swaylocks community and the people
that helped me out through my endeavors.
I think the biggest thing I’ve learned while shaping a few boards is how to
appreciate a finely tuned board and all the nuances that go with that. Walking
into a shop, certain boards just pop off the shelf now. I have started to see and
understand how and why boards work and which shapes won’t work for me
even though the sales guy tells me they will.
So if I walk away with nothing more than how to choose a board and truly understand
why I should get that board than its effort well spent.
Thanks!
