Hi, i need some help, i’m planning my next board #04 it will be for me, i’ve decided to go over 7’6" (my eps block is long exactly 7’6" but i can add a piece somewhere to the board) and i do really like boards like this:

Here it is, a simple outline… let me know what you think, where i live surf isn’t so popular so here’s the only place of inspiration for me.

if youre wanting to shape a hull, do alot of research on them first…they may be the most complex shape there is (in my mind) to do right.
a basic overview of hulls:
they are best in pointbreaks, they work alright in other kinds of waves, but they dont shine like they can on a wave like malibu or rincon…they are very specialized boards. your template looks alright, but the rocker would be off for a hull. they are VERY flat in the tail, not much more than 1" of tail rocker, and around 5" of nose rocker. if you can, picture a greenough spoon kneeboard, and transfer those bottom curves to the bottom of a surfboard, no hard edges, big belly in the nose and straight out the tail…thats what youd be shooting for if you want to make a hull. They surf very very differently than any other board, like i mentioned, its best to read about them a bit to understand what your aiming for.
BUT: if you dont want a hull, i think your template looks KILLER for an egg…a little bit of V out the tail, kinda round eggy rails,turned down hard in the tail…with a big flexy singlefin…THAT would be a board
