this board

http://www.2ndlight.com/forum42ndlight/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=8064 i really like this board, good for florida?

Probably. Robert August Bud Llamas model right? Guy who shaped that board is one of my best friends and we share a shaping room.

Man, that is one of those boards that if you arn’t into surfing the way that board needs to be surfed, it is junk. If you are into it its great. It’s just preference, for me it is junk.

Definately shove that fin forward a few inches though.

board looks fun to me. It would definitely work in FL better than a 6’1" x 18.25" x 2.25" thruster. Pretty hard to do turns when you can’t get your board speed up. The single looks like it has enough foam to get a glide on…

THe boards cool. But, the car is bitchen! Is it a malibu?

El Camino. Sweeeet ride.

Speaking of rides, Droptrow, how does that board need to be surfed?

It needs to be surfed in a way that is not fun for me. I suppose I am blessed with better waves than florida and don’t know the kind of mental breakdowns they all go through that warps their idea of a good surfboard. Really though, I have ridden boards simmilar to that and I didn’t like it, it just doesn’t fit my style. Thats just me and I don’t have anything against guys that can make that board work, I envy them really.
