Tiger Stripe Design on the Lam Coat?

Saw it in Surfer Journal. Looks like they had dozens of diff cups of colored lam resin. Poured them very carefully horizontally, some wide some posca thin, right on the fiberglass. Pulled down with squeegies. Does this work? Anyone try it? Cut laps? I’d think this would work best on the bottom, with a plain white deck. Hot and gloss coat as usual?

Yah sure…first color resin to hit cloth and foam, squeegeed in, is the color there. So just pour your color and follow with squeegee. Once the colored lam is there, anything over it gets squeegeed into oblivion.
