I’ve noticed some nice looking boards from Cooperfish with Tiger striped paint. Does anyone know how this is done?
I’ve noticed some nice looking boards from Cooperfish with Tiger striped > paint. Does anyone know how this is done? Chris, I am no expert, but from what I have read here on Sways it is done with resin tints. ie color added to resin. While the contributors here are very forth coming with info, I think the secrets of resin tinting are still quite guarded. I would get some tints, mix up several small batches of different colors and experiment. Thats what I plan to do on my next board. One hint I have picked up is the use of those restraunt style squeeze ketchup bottles to put it on with. Good luck and keep us posted on how it turns out. Oh, you might try searching the archives for “resin tinting” or something like that. ed
