Would love to hear some tips or tricks from the seasoned veterans on here. I’m sure there are some invaluable lesson or knowledge learned from doing, that can be shared.

Search is my friend, and I have picked up a ton of tips and tricks, but I thought it would be pretty cool just to have a thread that has favorite tips and tricks to read through and maybe pick up a real pearl.

There are those on here that share freely with others and serve as mentors, and there are others that feel everyone should have to learn on their own through trial and error and the school of hard knocks.

This thread is for those that share freely, and a big thank you in advance for that…

don’t pee on the electric fence

Don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it 

I actually know a guy that did just that!     Says he’ll NEVER do that again. (he was unaware that it was an electric fence, before he leaked on it.)

I saw it on Mythbusters.  You are actually safe doing it.  Go on try it, Trust me!

Learn to shape with a planer.

Don’t learn from You-tube.

Learn whatever you can from someone who has been doing it longer than you.
