to fit fcs fins

i did a search on this and couldn’t find anything, sorry if i’m crap.

have just shaped first board and am ready to glass it, my question is, do you drill holes for fcs fins after the glassing but before the hotcoat or drill them after the hotcoat is finished?

have shaped a fish style board (was nervous when started but hey, i kind of surprised myself, it actually looks like a surfboard.) and was thinking of using 6oz glass on bottom and 4oz & 6oz on deck, does this sound ok?

Drill 'em after the hot coat, dont forget the H cut to the deck. Your glassing sounds fine, but you will want to put an extra little patch of glass where the fin plugs will be, and on the deck where the H cut meets the deck.
