Toilet Paper: Up or Down?

So do you roll your cloth from the top(front) or bottom(back). Is it just habit or a personal preference? Is cloth the same coming off the roll?  Does it wet out easier when it comes from the top or the bottom?  Does it lay down better?  No difference? 

What say you?

I find I get better results rolling from the bottom up when using a brown resin tint.

TP?  Up, down, brown tint?

Down, because it keeps the roll from unfurling when the cat attacks it.

Are you in the Northern Hemisphere or Southern Hemisphere?

I’m in the Southern Hemisphere, and as such we always have the glass facing down. Things are complicated though if the glass has been manufactured in the Southern Hemisphere; if this happens we have to stand on our head when we’re glassing, or suspend the surfboard somehow and glass from underneath. Very tricky. Evidently at the equator they have to alternate between up and down otherwise the glass could explode. Don’t get me started on the difference between left and right handed glass. That’s a whole other catalogue of woe.

I just got back from my 3 months a year on the equator and I have first hand knowlege of the area. Roll are stored vertically. There is no up or down on the Equator there just is…There is no “swril” right or left either just a straight drop.

Better question is, which direction to stir your resin dependent of hemisphere. Clockwise or counter clockwise?

Will you be using a metric left handed squeegee?  It could make all the difference.

I have left and right handed squeegees, depending on weather I’m using left or right handed glass.

Over the top always. Glass regular, but surf goofy.

I’ve found stirring the lam resin clockwise, yields a stronger lamination.

Opposite for hot Coats.

I sand my boards with the pad spinning clockwise.

Reverse it to utilize the sharp side of the sanding grit.

Makes my sandpaper last twice as long.

Cloth is stored with roll spinning over the top @ a 45 Degree angle so I can duck under it.
