Tom Morey TRAF Fin System

Just picked up a Morey-Pope Peck Penetrator that has the Tom Morey TRAF fin system installed. I did some research and found out that this is supposed to be a removeable fin system but i see no way in how the fin is secured in the box or how i would go about removing it properly. Anyone have an experience or knowledge on this fin system?
