Tow in skiing minimizes the efforts of all those dedicated “paddle in” big wave skiers. Big wave skiing in my opinion only counts when the wave is paddled into.

My nephew had surfing skis built about 10 years ago when he was attending UC Santa Barbra. Did some tow.in surfsking with the goal of doing it at Mavericks. However on one mission the they managed to sink the jetski. That was a big setback going out at Mavericks. Unfortunately He had another major setback in his life, Mental Illness. I Have made a few inquiries to see if his surf- skis were out there somewhere without any luck.

I don’t understand the use of ski poles?? he’d be better off with tennis rackets I think. Or squash paddles.
