Tucked Edge underside of rail ?

as in image below, can anyone tell me the effect of having more edge on the underside of the rail [if thats how its described :slight_smile: ]

An edge that is more tucked under through that part of the board will release water from underneath the rail easier when turning and is less likely to “catch”. And vice versa.
