Twin Fin Hybrid???

I got an 8 ft (15.5" x 21" x 14.5" x 2.75" wide point back of center) hybrid with FCS thruster plugs. A friend has a set of MR twin fins that he’s looking to sell. Is it crazy to try putting these in such a long board? Would I gain some drive in small waves like a smaller fish does? What if I got a small trailer for a third fin along side these? Any guesses on how it would ride? The set up reminds me of a 9ft twiner I once had.

My small wave board is a 7’9" x 22 with a 15" tail, and two 6" tall x 5" chord G-10 double foiled fins, no tail unless it gets overhead.

Yeah, snappy and quick, if you are.

The tail fin, a 4"er that I use, is just too big and kills all quickness and snap. Actually, I have 3, 4" fins…sigh!!
