Wicked pointy sharp bits!
ahh’’ nice adrian am i seeing some movement here
hot shit!
Damn Yorky. Nice. My next build was going to be another Griffinesque 5 fin (if you haven’t tried one, you should) but that looks really interesting. You should try it with a e-wing, since the bottom looks bonzeresque.
Thanks guys,
llilibel03, I was thinking of kind of a reverse E wing, you know, one that kind of breaks the rail line and pushes up (like a fin). Making a flatter rail line. For more hold and bite…I thought about a Traditional E wing but it might cause unwanted slip and spin out, Because its got no big back fin for stability…Your right though it does look bonezeresque.
Maybe add a fin box. that could be fun.
Cheers
Now you’re talking my language! Beauty! Dims?
Hey Bud, Cheers for up scaling my pics. I don’t know why only sometimes mine come up large… anyway…?
Dims are:-
5’10 x 19 x 2 3/8
low nose entry into a nice amount of tail rocker in the rail line, with a flattish consistant stringer rocker out the back
very very slight single con up front into a double con in a very deep vee.
fins up 9" with 1/8’’ toe @ a base fin line of 4 3/8.
Thanks again mate, The pic look much nicer all together like that.
Liking the look of that very much, bottom looks wicked, I think a small trailer fin or stabiliser would be cool too…
Sick! I had to get a cup for the drool. Nice job.
A+ !!!
i want one

NIIIIICE board
how does yours feel surfing, very solid?
surfs good waves only?
How wide a tail is that board?
what is the idea of that rail that seems through to the back, but also thins out?
nice nice nice!
Hey Bud ..... how goes it ???
Yorky !! just open this thread and It's blown my mind, I've just come in from my bay where I've just profiled what I reckon is your boards twin brother / sister whatever !! (lol) get it "twin"

how does yours feel surfing, very solid? Mate it feels surprisingly solid and loves down the line waves, low entry rocker with the heavey vee + double concave and those big fins pulled back, yeah very solid
surfs good waves only? works in the mush but better on a clean face, stand on the tail more in the mush.
How wide a tail is that board?** don’t know off hand.
**
what is the idea of that rail that seems through to the back, but also thins out?** I wanted total freedom from the fins back, i kept the rails blocky in the tail so the waver wouldn’t wrap over and bog it down. I finnished the board then added the step down wing. That blocky rail in the tail that goes thick to thin is just the foil after I cut into it. I hope that answers your question.
**
nice nice nice!** Cheers

foamhead, thats classic.
yeah its would be great to check your board out.
