Twinzer Cant???

Those of you who have built Twinzers, what do you like for cant on the:

  • Mains?

  • Canards?

Mains should be around 4 degrees and cunards between 8 and 12 degrees.

If your looking for drive and power: Mains 2*  Canard 5*

For more release but still plenty of power lay the Canards out to 7* or even 10*

If you want lots of release Lay the Main out to 4* or even 6*.

More upright fins give greater drive and less release

As the canard and main become more separated performance stiffens.

As the canard becomes overlapped with the main the turning moment quickens.

Small canards make for more free turning at slower speeds.

Lower aspect will give greater directional stability.

Higher aspect fins privide better top to bottom performance.
