I’ve got the house to myself for a couple of weeks, I can make as much mess as I like, so I’m going to make a couple of boards a compsand twinzer egg and a semigun. APS3000 file for the Egg is attached. I’ve been inspired by Shwuz’s twinzer egg. I’m thinking this would be a good board for crowded, rippy summer beachies, need to do a lot of paddling but still want something I can turn on. This one will be 6’8” x 20.5. I’m 65 kgs. (if it were for an average surfer 75~80 kg dims would scale to 7’x21") It’s a little narrower than your classic egg and has a little more rocker - I wanted to have more curve in the tail rocker for better hold.
I was going to put the twins about 10 inches up – toed to the nose, front vanes centred level with twin leading edges. Does this sound right?
