Can anyone in the UK recomend a “spackle” for EPS easily available in our feeble shops? I’m not even sure what the English translation is for spackle, is it just some sort of Polyfiller?

Just go to your local paint shop and ask for light weight WHITE spackle. He’ll think you’re a plasterer and he’ll know what your lookign for. Don’t buy the stuff from B&Q or any of the other giant DIY shops. It’s lightweight WHITE stuff you want.
If you need to thin it with water use distilled. The chemicals in the tap water can turn the spackle yellow when it dries.

Ha, now that we’re talkin spackle amongst european shapers, what’s the DUTCH word for spackle? There are a lot of dutch shapers here on swaylocks so I figured this might be my chance to find out what the dutch translation is 
“Enduit” is the french word for “spackle” and it seems like it’s the same in Dutch. What do you think?
I live in Sweden and use a light weight spackle from the UK. It’s called “One strike filler”. It’s very light and thins out well with water. Use distilled water. I use battery water.

Red Devil is based in the UK. Red Devil Fast and Final is what you want. And spackle is plaster.

Balsa kan je aan Axton helpen, een merk spackle.
In Belgie is ook het eea te verkrijgen.
Als je wilt, mag je mijn pot kopen voor 45 Euro. Ongebruikt. 5 Liters.

5 liter is wel kneiterveel of niet? Hoeveel gebruik je voor een normaal board? En je ken het gewoon bij de bouwmarkt halen neem ik aan?

5 Litres seems much, but you can store it for 1 year at least. and you can not buy it in nl, unless really expensive. i mean 16 euro for 250 ml. You sand off quite a bit, contact balsa for sending and shipping, he mght help you out.

The Gamma, every Dutch guy knows it, sells Knauf Renoband, it is a lightweight spackle and costs 11 euro for one litre.
