I’ve recently scored a cool Bolt 7’10"semi-gun which has a unique Bolt logo on the deck. The interest to me is specifically related to this logo as I have in my memory an image of someone riding a board with this style of logo. I haven’t seen another anywhere, and it has a unique tag on the stringer. It says - “Anakoni” LIghtning Bolt Hawaii. Anakoni apparently means “priceless” in Hawaiian and is the Hawaiian equivalent to “Anthony”. I don’t have any knowledge of an Anthony being one of the Shapers for LIghtning Bolt.
The image I have in my mind, I could have sworn was of Lopez surfing somewhere like G-land, but as I can’t find it via Google or other means I’m at a loss.
If anyone has any ideas on the origins of this board or it’s “Anakoni” reference I’d be stoked to hear from you. I’d love to see the image again!
