Up to date Opinions about Surfblanks South Africa

Hi Everybody,

I´m looking for up to date opinions about Surfblanks South Africa/Midget Farrelly?

There is a really good source for me here in Europe for these Blanks, but I don´t know if they are any good? Clark are really hard to get for a reasonable price.

And I´ve read good and bad stuff about Midget Farrelly´s blanks in the archives, but they are all older!

So if anyone has any experience or knows about these, please let me know!

Henning

Midgets blanks can’t be too bad a lot of people in Australia use them

I live in OZ and have been using surfblanks for about 3 years. I have only ever had a few small air bubble. Although on one occasion I had a air bubble right on the rail that I have to fill before glassing. Other than that, they have been pretty good for me. A bit cheaper than the others as well.

Hi Eurotrash, would you mind telling me what your source is? I (and a few others) might be interested as well.

Hi Balsa,

sure! It´s Wide Distribution in Rotterdam and the guys name is William, he distributes the 4 way fin system for Europe (that´s how I found him).

He doesn´t have blanks in stock, he told me he just started and collects orders, but within a few weeks is possible!

What about Surfoam in France?

Roro (Surfoam owner/manager) is a good friend of mine and I have used his blanks for a long time, so I’m not putting him down in any way but the truth is we have had trouble with bubbles and/or density uneveness lately. Besides, relying on one and only blank supplier is not that good. And blank choice is not very wide either. So, I’m always looking for other supply sources, providing quality is OK, of course. Thanks for the contact, Eurotrash.
