URGENT 2+1 fin placement on shortboard i have searched

i need some one please asap to reccomend correct fin placement for a 2 + 1 setup on a round tail shortboard . measuring 6’7" x 20 " 2 5/8 tail 14 3/4 nose 13 1/2

based on the wayne lynch evo series i really want the flexability of the single fin box 6" 3/4 .

I HAVE SEARCHED BUT TO NO AVAIL !!

Someone suggested the box 6 -7 " up from the tail which when place it on the board seems too much, with the trailing edge of the side fine 14 " up 1" 1/4 from rail

the board is ready for routing so can someone get back to asap much appreciated!!

I’d put the box back as far as possible. If you can get it so a small center fin (maybe with a cutaway trailing edge) can be about 3 or 4 inches from the tail, you can set up like a standard thruster or 2 + 1. The forward fins up 14", inside the rail 1 1/4" with a little toe-in (maybe 1/4") and cant sounds about right.

A cant set-up trick I read about somewhere said to allow a 1" or more difference between the trailing bases and trailing tips. Maybe easier than trying to measure “4 degrees” or whatever with concaves and such in the way. Measure between the trailing bases - say they’re 12" apart… then tilt them so the tips are 13" apart or a little more. You’ll be pretty close.
