I was wondering where would be the cheapest place to buy US blanks. Is there anywhere I can get them for cheaper? Particularly in the LA area. Can you guys give me an idea of the prices you are getting them for?

Actually I want to buy around 10. The only place i’ve seen is foam EZ. Is there any other place thats cheaper? Can I buy directly from US blanks or do i need a sellers permit or something? Is it even cheaper to buy directly from US blanks? If not, can someone refer me to a couple places where i can buy that will give a good deal.

order direct from us blanks they filled my 3blank order custom stringers on all and were ready and shiped to me within two weeks and im in the north east pretty dam quick for west to east coast transaction…and I might order ten a year…there holding true to grubbys order one or a million big or small guy
You will need a Calif. resale # if you go direct. Distributors will be cheaper, they buy more get bigger discount…Bashams is in San Clemente is another option.
If you buy 10 you might get a better price. However what’s a couple of buck for a good first quality blank with a straight stringer?
Nickle and dime mentally is a good formula for failure. Are you hand shaping them or machine cutting? Is custom rocker important to you?
What about $4.00/Gal for Gas? They have the best delivery system than any other blank company at present. Your going to drive to Foam easy?
Have them delivered and make some boards.
Raise you prices to your finish boards.
If you are in L.A. decide whether you want to drive north or south. Bashams was mentioned to the south of you and Fiberglass Hawaii in Ventura is north of you (805) 644-0009. Resale permits enable you to the possibility of discounts because you are stating the intent (if nothing else) of doing some volume. Ten blanks in a year isn’t volume. They might raise an eyebrow if you want to buy 50 or 100 at a pop. The guy that got great service in the northeast is happy with their delivery and his logisitics are far more involved than yours.

Just to let you and all the Sways people know how we do our blank pricing. We offer two different price lists one for Wholesale and one for Retail. Our Wholesale price is 3% below US Blanks 0% on their price list. Therefore, if you are a legitimate wholesaler you can purchase blanks cheaper from Foam E-Z than directly from US Blanks! To fall into the 3% discount bracket with US Blanks you have to order more than ten (10) blanks per order. The benefit to purchasing from Foam E-Z is not only do you pay less but we have a large stock of most blanks in the catalog. Obviously if you’re not a wholesale buyer you will pay more. I’m sure you will find this situation in most, if not all, industries and is in place to try to protect the guys that do it for a living.
