using "Odor Mask" in poly

i’ve been working on a new board in the trashy patio area of my apartment building. anyhow, last time i forgot to sweep up some of the dust, and my neigbor’s dog decided to roll around in it. she called the landlord and comlained about me, so that’s the end of my shaping.

anyways, i still intend to glass a flexspoon i’m making. i’ve used poly there before, with no complaints because there’s pretty good ventilation. but to avoid any possible problems, i’m thinking of using “Odor Mask” from fiberglass hawaii. is this stuff worth it? what should i expect from it - how strong is the smell and does it linger?

the last time i played with that stuff it smelled like laundry detergent kinof…but a little bit fruity?

its not a bad smell, more like a “hm…wonder what that smell is?” and thats it…nobody should complain.

play with how much you put in unless they can give you a ratio, when i was with FH i didnt hear of a specific ratio, but i may have been asking the wrong people…good luck and PLEASE let us know how it goes!!
