Vacuum pump help...

All right, I just bought a vacuum pump ( A JB DV-85N) and I am a confused about some of the specs. The pump pulls 3 CFM and has a 25 Micron ultimate pull. Can some one please tell what the a hell a Micron is?! I am useing this for vac bagging…

A micron is equivalent to a milliTorr is equivalent to 1mmHg. Suffice it to say the ultimate pressure of the vacuum is very very low, like 99.99%. Here’s an informative table:
