veneer material

I wanted to try my hand at a Composite sandwich board and I was wondering where to get the veneer material ? (either balsa or possibly bamboo)

Balsa sheets are readily available but full sheet balsa veneer is another story. Other types of wood are available as full size sheets. Check Joewoodworker.com or search wood veneers on Google. They’re out there if you look.
