Veneers in aus, what size? Suppliers etc??

Hey guys, looking at trying a veneer. Now, the only goal at the moment is just cosmetic, and ding resistance. I’m not looking to composites, and don’t plan to yet ( I’ll get another JD for that!! ). So, where do you get em, and what is a good thickness, and variety etc. I have a marko 1.9 stringered blank. I’ve been looking at the “low tech vac bagging” thread, so the pump I have is a small aquarium pump with a reversed diaphragm, which sucks haha. Again, specifically for adding veneers to stringered boards, purely for cosmetics and ding resistance, while not being too heavy.

P.S  I have. 4x44 s cloth for the marko, so with a thin veneer should still be light. I’m hoping haha.

The local plywood yard could be a good start.

dont get the sticky back.

Beery, I got a stack of 100 sheets offa eBay, they shipped from Vicco and I got 6 different wood grains and colours. They’re about 8" X 30" X 1 mm. Because they’re so thin they are brittle to handle so you’ve got to be gentle.

Glassed with 2 oz under and 4 oz over, its bulletproof on EPS.
