Ventilation/exhaust fans

Ok,

Setting up new spaces,

One for shaping and sanding, and one for glassing (poly)…both in separate sheds!

Id like to consider putting in some exhaust fans. Was wondering if im needing a particular fan type given the flammability/explosiveness of resin fumes etc?

Are typical bathroom/laundry exhaust fans appropriate for sanding/shaping rooms and glassing rooms?

Search for tube axial fans and squirrel cage blowers.

Try your local demolition yard…the fans salvaged from kitchen (above stove) are built to handle flammable stuff (hot oil etc etc) . Strip them down to the essential parts and apply them to suite.
