Hi,
Have fun in the shapeing room thank you.
Thank you
And now we return you to 1972 and a work of surfing art by Dan Skydog Highland.
Thought this might be of interest on this thread.
Yep, nothing quite as exciting as a 40 year old board design, and 55 year old fin technology.

Be patient Chip, and that one day will come. (soon) Photo's and descriptions, will come AFTER ride reports from Mr. Spitzer. I intend to make arrangments with a fin company for production and marketing. But first things first. I'm pleased that Herb, with his extensive experience, will do the evaluation. If the fin does half of what I expect of it, it's an out of the park home run.
Bill...
cheers I look forward to seeing it !
[ yep , I suppose I'm a patient person by nature ( I work with patients , also :) )
....surfing , skating , photography , working with the handicapped , and working in mental health ... interesting , eh ?
I'd never really stopped to think about it before , but I guess they are all activities which I have done for years , which I guess all require a certain amount of patience eh ?!
...as does posting photos here , sometimes ? ! ha ... when the ol' computer has a 'go slow' day [which seems quite often] , it can take HOURS of being here to seemingly get 'anything' done ha]
I look forward to reading herb's evaluation of the fin[s] , and later , OTHERS feedback ...
THAT'S where 'Swaylock's ' can be a GREAT resource !
... getting as many good surfers here as possible to test fins WORLDWIDE ! [ the idea behind the 'Swaylocks Travel Boards' , too , of course ...to SHARE the STOKE !]
hiya Roger 'proneman' !...
man ! .... I would LOVE to meet you , 'one day' !
I'd certainly like to give you some stuff , to take back to give to other 'Swaylockians' there .... 'if' you have room in your bags ? [hopefully...]
Please , can you help lighten my load of fins for me ?
Maybe at a 'Big Sur' sways gathering or something , they could be distributed ... or given away as raffle prizes / ? 'fundraisers' ? for this worthy site , perhaps ? [thanks again , Mike Paler , for 'Swaylock's ! ]
'artz' ....
THANKS for posting that !
Do you know if there were any articles / ride reports ever written on that ?
I would be curious to hear how the vents and the three fins surfed . [And what the rails , foil and rocker was like on that , of course ...any more PHOTOS of that anywhere , please ? ]
'wavefin' ...
I eagerly await more ride reports and fin setup option photos , please !!
[like I say , if you want to send some fins over , I'll gladly volunteer to be the guinea pig / 'crash test dummy' . I LOVE riding others' creations !]
cheers !

Hi,
What an interesting looking machine would be nice to have a look right around it.
Thank you
Yes that would be nice to see.
Hi,
It is so nice to see knew and different things come to light.
Hi,
The rear view of a factory board. 7ft
I will put a pic up of a fin in my hand so you can soon so you can gauge the size.
and set up the other board with a few fin soon as well
gosh Bill, Sorry that the photo offened your progressive sensibilities.
Wavefin
Great to see the fin pics, they look like a serious viable concept.
My friend from the Gold Coast is visiting my place this evening and when he came in he said he had seen this article on a GoldCoast guy that had air holes in his board. I thought he had checked out this post, but it was in an online magazine, you know the one. I could arrange for him to film you with his phone if your interested … maybe you want to be more professional, thats OK, maybe together you could work something out … just a thought. He’s in Burliegh heads.
You’ve created a lot of interest here … good stuff.

Artz,
Not offended at all. The post was quite appropriate. Both concepts are fields that have been well plowed before. Relax, eh?
Bill, The rain here is getting to me. I have been attempting to finnish painting my boat and seems like as soon as I get set up it rains.
Hi,
That would be good to meet him and see what we could do.
