Hello kadmielrampton - is that really a surfboard display stand? Kinda hard to believe, could you post a pic with the surfboard in it? To me it seemed more like an excuse to put your business link in a post here, which is spam, if you’re not really posting anything relevant to the thread. I could be wrong. I deleted the link, but if you can show me the picture of your stand holding up a surfboard, you can put the link back.

haha! I am easing up - I didn’t delete the post, just the link. We get a constant influx of spam here, and they keep trying to find creative ways to disguise it. Its usually a comment with kinda wonky English, like “great post, really I loving this forum, so enthused I visit here more frequent!” - always new to the forum, usually nothing specifically about the subject of the thread or the forum, and the everpresent link - to a business website unrelated to surfing.
All I’m saying is really, if thats a surfboard display stand, show us how it works - he’s got a great professional looking shot of it, why wouldn’t he have one that shows the surfboard too?
It looks suspiciously like a countertop business card holder to me.
I would normally have handled it by pm, but this poster has disabled pm. If he can show that he’s got a genuine interest in surfboards, and this is really a surfboard stand, its all good, welcome to swaylocks, lets talk surfboards.
If he’s another one of the countless spammers, next time he tries the same, he gets banned (they just come back with a different name anyway). I think that’s fair enough.
BTW, love your work, always. That thirdshade boardpark thingy is pretty cool too, with them little grabber arms!

I wish I could have posted that but to be frank I had lost one of my leg in an acciedent a few months back and then such things was really painful to me when ever I used to saw them so I had gifted all of such things to my nephew !!
Plus if I could have known earlier that you’ll be asking me such proof’s for my post then I would have taken lots of pics of it and posted over here!!!

Hello Mr. Rampton. I apologize for my delayed response, I was at first left speechless by your shocking reply. I admit to thinking your surfboard stand looked just too "tippy" (as Mr. Jensen said), but now that I have been made aware of your unusual circumstances, I consider it a most appropriate design.
I was saddened to hear that the pain of looking at that stand forced you to give it to your nephew - looking at it has a similar effect on me, so yes, I can really sympathize. If I had ten such stands, I would wish for ten nephews!
Glad you were able to rise above the pain, and while you had to give it away to your nephew because you just couldn't look at it, yet you somehow managed to post a picture here on the internet! Kudos.

So now Huck , we all have a burning desire to know what is at the Rampton link ! Did you look ? I really, really wanna know! Is there a picture of Mr Rampton with one leg ? I will try not to make fun of a one legged man for fear of going to hell !! Perhaps Mr Rampton being a wood worker and all could post a picture of his custom wood peg leg ! Like , any good Wood worker would want a good hand made peg leg , even if only a show peace and something to talk about at parties !!! By the way Paul, a display stand should be reserved for Woodies that have high milage and are being retired from the fleet ! (Insert smiley face here)
