I just picked up a nice 9’ 7" vintage Gordon and Smith Skip Frye model longboard. Written on the stringer is “No.11 9501”. I’m guessing it predates Skip’s well known wings logo because it has the “Skip Frye model” written in long hand on the decal. Just wondering if anyone might know when the board was shaped and whom the shaper might have been. It’s in excellent condtion. I will try to attache some pics a little later.
