No, I didn’t get caught. In the photo I’m setting up to hit a banked bottom turn, and squirt back up into wave, and down the line. That particular pintail gun, was not one of my faster boards, but would easily get the job done. Never rode that board at Waimea, but did get lots of Sunset, and a spectacular day of 20 foot Makaha with it, when I lived there.
I love that picture.So cool to hear from the shaper/surfer as to what was going on.

The images illustrate the difference in behavior exhibited by the two fluids. I couldn’t read the words either.
I think there should be a annual best avitar award. Winner gets a no expenses paid dinner with resinhead with his helmet on. But my vote for this year is me! I think my donkey is damn funny. Second place goes to resinhead and why is that black dot so small? Was it cold? Thirdly, I’d like to highly commend my interview with Elvis. Brilliant stuff. I like sirwanksalots login name as well.
