Does anyone kwo some dimensions for a wake surfing board. I want the lenght to be 6’0" but i dont know teh thcikness or width. I woudl guess make them prettythick and wide.

I am about 6’1 weigh 190

Thanks

Gonna depend on boat speed.

24mph is norm for 4’ long, 16" wide wakeboards.

32 for Old Man’s and Womens waterskis.

So how fast is your boat, I mean it’s cruising speed.

A regular surfboard works great at around 12mph. That’s a 6’x19"er.

Big wave towboards are generally around sub 6’ x 16", about 2.5 thick.

Smaller wave towboards are appropriately wider.

The ones I’ve seen in stores are thin, nearly skimboard thin.

I’d do some web surfing and look at wakesurfing company board specs.

a quick google came up with: http://www.shredstixx.com/stixxtreme.htm 6’x22"x2 5/6"

good luck

That site by 4est was cool.

I’ve also seen some new style wakeboarding surfboards with very shallow 4" fins, thin like a skimboard, but about 4’6" x 20, shaped like a modern skimboard, full deck padded, used to ride without the rope behind a skiboat.

I guess any size works fine, from your basic 12’ windsurf board down to a 4’ piece of curved plywood.
