Global Surf Industries is the world’s largest surfboard distributor. We currently distribute 10 brands of surfboards through out about 20 countries. We are currently looking for some new designs to take to market.
In 2003 we purchased a Step Deck Fish from Central Coast of NSW Australia Shaper Gary Loveridge. We have developed this product into a worldwide success with many thousands being sold in quite a few countries. Gary gets a royalty from every boards sold which is is quite happy about. We have marketed the board under our 7S brand as the Super Fish is rides unbelievably well in small to chest high surf. It also looks different which provides some great shelf appeal. This year we introduced a second version of the Super Fish being the Super Fish XL and asked Gary to design a shortboard hybrid design called - The Dart. Gary is now getting royalties off these three designs.Last year we also signed global distribution agreements with Greg Webber and Steve Walden.
We are now looking to add designs to our GSI range of Shortboards, Funboards or Longboards. Now I understand that this may be the furthermost thing from some of your guys minds but we are willing to pay for your hard work on the design front. If you have a board you think will be able to sell well in hard core surf shops around the world because it works well then we would like to help make this a reality.
