waterproof mp3 player

Hey guys few days ago I bought a “waterproof under water” mp3 player for the lonely surf sesions.

Does anybody tried it yet? The point is till end of March i can’t surf so i wanna know what u people think about it.

this is the mp3

I have a similar one...I thought it was awesome to listen to my own little musical mix while surfing...I hate freaking earbuds though and salt water makes it worse...I can only tolerate it for about an hour then I leave it on the beach but it is cool.  Does make surfing small days more fun for sure.

MP3 why. Its bad enough when you get dropped in on but if someone is tuning out how can he tune in. To me it’s a bad idea and dangerous but thats me.

Safety First

I agree on a crowded day, which means the waves are hopefully pretty good...it would be a bad idea. Honestly you guys in Cali sure have alot more surf than than we do on the east coast but damn...the crowds you guys have is mind blowing to me...but on a 2-3' day loggin' on an east coast beach break....like I said it is pretty cool...and on a day like that I can have the beach all to myself...especially in winter!

**woody1962** - i actually bought it for the swimming pool coz it's fucking boring swim 3km without any music ... then i thought it's kinda nice to surf with your favorite music(i always snowboard with music even if it's freeride or park).

**sanolocal** - my local beach it's never crowdy so nothing bad will happen and when i surf i don't hear anything (i don't wanna hear anything).

At the and of march I'll give my opinion about surfing with music.

Why don’t you listen to the sound of the ocean and take it in. I mean I enjoy nothing more than silence and just hearing te world without a million people yelling. Eerything slows down in the water. But that’s just me. I can listen to music all day I can’t enjoy the ocean all day though.

coz it’s kinda impossible, my local spot is near to the road so what i’ll listen is the sound of the cars and not the sound of the sea.

sing a song!
