Watershots January 2007 for Ben

So this is me on a 8’6" x 23" x 3" Noserider made locally.

living up to it’s namestake as noserider

My attempt at water photography now, I VERY much Enjoyed it, whilst it was hard with the rip running strong and 4’ onshore low tiders comming through (like that last wendsday we surfed when i was over in scarborough)

This board is a 9’1" x 23" x 2 3/4" single fin longboard with a 10" single fin

This was a little one Dad got in the shorey before paddling out

I was actually inside the barrel when i took this shot and the wave is bigger than it looks in the photo, Dad going over the falls. (the fujifilm watercam disposibles actaully have more zoom than the kodaks so this shot isnt as nice as i hoped it would be)

Then Dad took the camera

The next morning the waves were nicer but the camera only had limited film.

Cheers!

Josh.

cheers josh !

  1. your dad daz will love that shot of him bellyboarding , i’m sure …NOT !

  2. taking shots from a surf mat gets you higher up

  3. a kodak disposable has 800 film , plus a wider angle lens [good for getting up close !]

  4. i could have some photos ready tomorrow …some of which i took while riding my mat [last saturday / ?sunday? , from memory ]

  5. good on ya , mate , for getting out there with a water camera !! …

now , for hicksy … [i’ll beat him asking the question himself]

"WHERE’S the shot of your mum ? "

[and , for the rest of us …

where are the shots of your sister surfing ? ]

   cheers !!

…just imagine if instead of buying that fish you dinged alreay , you had bought a waterproof digital camera , instead …then we could have had FOOTAGE , as well …your dad would be even MORE stoked then …[NOT ! …again]
