I know this has been brought up a few times before, but I’m pretty sure there is no official poster for Swaylocks. I have a few proposed solutions for this problem…1.) Poster contest, best poster gets printed. judged on by the moderaters. 2.) Swaylocks has one commissioned and then mass produced.
With the development of Swaybay, Swaylocks has the perfect place to sell them to us too.
We also need some bumper stickers and t-shirts.

Another idea I have for the poster is for everyone to put up their favorite pics of boards on this post and we can put them all on one poster…so post your favorite pic!
that would be an interesting / busy poster …20- 3,620 ? (as at 25th september 2005, if every member posted a photo of a board …not) thumbnail shots of boards , with “swaylocks” written somewhere …
or maybe the boards could make up the letters of Swaylocks …
Stickers exist . As do T-shirts . And laminates.

Good idea, I need something for the walls in my shop, I don’t think I can get away with hanging the traditional calendar of scantily clad women, you know wife and daughter?..
Rolly , that’s why you’re a woodworker / maven , remember ?? [so you can build lockable swinging door cupboards / wardrobes , calendar width , to stick them all up on the inside …]

Seriously…maybe Mike and the Moderators can take the time to check out Cafe Press.com with an eye on putting out some twisted merchandise on the cheap and easy…not so cheap for customers but nobody would have to run a mailorder business in addition to the Center of the Surfing Universe…
What’s REALLY funny about that poster (besides the haircuts…those are pretty funny) is that the ladies are measuring out the cuts on a billet of EPS! Seriously!
Albeit, not everyone is on the PES/epoxy revolution/evolution here, but still…far too fitting.

There also aren’t any thong underwear for the ladies - somebody out there even sells tees and thongs with “Dora Lives” - but then maybe even the addicted don’t want the spectre of a woman wearing a “Swaylock’s Inspired” thong…the imagery is too disturbing on many levels…

Rice paper? I’m still using “El Protecto” toilet seat covers for laminates. Any time, day or night, a quick trip to the little boys room at the local super market or gas station and I get 'em for free.
I think Mike’s still working on posters, calendars and for the adventurous, leopard print thong bikini briefs.

See above…I realize this more properly belongs on the appalling “walkin’ and chewin’” thread…then I think of the paipo Poobah made with an actual toilet seat laminated to the hull…maintaining the wooden material motif…and I think of one rainy/slushy Oregon day hearing a guy in a rest stop refer to toilet seat covers as “butt gaskets”…
