We decided to go camping at a south facing remote reef break on these dates about six months a go… I am a little excited…!

Swell hucking hypsters killed the spirit of surfing.  Now all we got to do is send them to your spot, at the same time you’ll be there.  Got a pretty good clue on where you’ll be surfing perhaps you could invite everyone on sways. I guess that’s what we have to look forward in this brave new world, a little doom and gloom, as if anyone is really “free surfing” behind guarded gates and fences.

Tuesday morning was nice 2-3 glassy and no one out.......

..........wind blown hype so far...I'll stick to the unknown days......June gloom has taken over,,,,hey the water warmed up! Maybe that's why the wind is wierd...this swell will blow by and Stingray and Crew will get more perfect 2-3 foot days without the internet weekend crowds.......no hype ....just go surfing...........

Hi Everysurfer....everyone knows Stingray does not charge big waves.....

The call came...an undergouund crew of  San Diego guys were going to chase the swell....some big south swell spots way north of San Diego...I kissed the wife, loaded the truck and sped up the coast, picked up a good friend and his 8'6" gun.....the first day we saw waves with 8-10 foot faces...my bros all got killer waves....I did not go out....call it what you want........My Bros surfed for hours...total Stoke....Big rides and big wipe outs.........back home today....stoked to ride 3-4 foot at my perfect little San Diego reef break....charge hard my friends!.........

definitely a good surfari.  And it was really too bad Resinhead’s squid line broke, that 30 pound fish would have made a couple nice meals!
