Wellen Surfboards. My newest project...

Thanks reverb.

Today’s pigments are so weak it requires a bit extra to hide those stringers.

Not like the good 'ol days. (Hastings & etc.)

That and some of that secret, purple sauce.

I think this is the look we’re gonna run with.

Having fun cutting laps again!

If I can’t cut 'em clean, the pinline guy is my best friend.

He makes me look good!

Couple more freshies for my friends at Wellen.

5’ 2" Stubbie w/ white opaque pigment. Tyler Warren keels.

9’ ITP w/ Coral colored opaque pigment. Single box.

They are opening a retail shop in Venice Beach.

They are going there.

Why on earth are Mr and Mrs Stingray at Walmart?? …Well… we are in the over 50 club and our eye care insurance sent us there. The eye exam doctor was great and the guy selling the frames was really cool. There was a whole section of frames that said BarryS on them…My wife knows Barry ,Everytime I went for something Barry she said no…we love you Barry…my woman likes the Rayban look…So I’m going with that…Happy wife , Happy life…

Ray

I hear ya Ray.

Joined that club in July.

Without those shades,

All my boards would be Asymmetrical’s.

HAHA!

Love the clean look to the logo Barry, just like your boards. Good luck in your new endeavor, all though I dont think you need it. Your work says it all!!

One day I hope I can make a board like those! Really diggin the simple/classy look, excellent work Barry!

Thanks for the kind words guys.

This is a perfect example of when I simplify my boards.

I tend to go over-board and extreme sometimes.

I guess less is more as they say.** :)**

Would you be will to share that Greenough template. I could pay for it or whatever. All the boards I build are for myself & I would never build a board like that and sell it to anyone. I want to build my own recreations of boards from the past. Before I was born. My friend just let me template a Christenson fish. My other friend has an Andreini stubby I can take a template from. That Greenough spoon would complete my quiver.  Thanks alot Zack

loving the matt pigments barry.

cool looking shapes too.
