What company is willing to earn money converting my .BRD files into .DXF files

Hi all,

First time I ask this on sways. The only time i did ask somebody, he found it immoral to do so. I do not see the immorality of it, and hopefully somebody else neither, so that i can have .dxf files for my EPS cutter.

The background of this question is important though: I live in the Netherlands, far far away from the real surfing world, thus far away from shaping machines, big business and all such…

Therefore, to keep costs down, and not go bankrupt on transport of shapes, i need, i really need to convert .brd files into .dxf files.

Anybody out there willing to help or has another solution??

W.

I think that you will find this feature available in boardcad in the very near future.

hrmm… said haavard with a knowing grin?

where do we get the nightly builds…

./make

That would be cool,

for right now, i haven’t got the right files still… or i should pay 435 Euros for an addition to shape 3D…

sigh…

Dxf files, what do they look like,? is it two files for one board??

regards

Wouter

The current dxf file is a single triangulated model containing several small 3dfaces, but if you tell us how you want it I’m sure we can arrange it. Are you only cutting the rocker and outline or a full 3D model?

Hi Jonas

  1. Outline

  2. Rocker

That’s it

Tried the boardcad, not convinced yet, but it seems that “things are stirring in the North”

Any help to make precise outlines and rockers is welcome
