Hi guys,
I bought a decoration surfboard for 50euros. The shop owners don’t know anything about surfboards, it is just used for decorating the shop.
Now I’m wondering what glassing schedule is used on the board, to know if it can be surfed.
The board is PU/PE sanded finish (no glosscoat), 7’10" x 22" x 2"3/4, it has FCS plugs, and it weighs 4.7kg (10.36lbs).
Do you guys have an idea what glassing schedule is used for this board. It feels like it is glassed enough for surfing but I’m not sure.

Rails feel solid to me but I want to be sure.
Can someone compare with the weight of a board with similar dimensions?
all the glassing factories that i have been to always glass decoration boards just like they normally would so it should be just fine

Do you care if you break it? It is only 50 euros man. And where do you want to surf it anyways?
You can never guess this, maybe the blank is super heavy.
Do as beerfan says, give it a solid Nail test.
