I have finished shaping my board and would like yo know whhat grit of sand paper should be used to prepare the surface for painting with acrylics? What grit has the best adhesion for glass and paint? Thanks
the paint doesn’t care. i go to 180 grit on all my boards and the paint loves it. oh yeah, so does the poly resin. kirk
180 is mine too on clark like 220 on walker because of the crystals http://www.surfboardglassing.com
