What is your favorite surf flick?

I have quite a few surf videos, and am still collecting. I was wondering what your favorite surf movies/videos/dvd’s were. I like Shelter for a new over all movie, goodenbreed for a 60’s style, super sessions for 70’s. Wordz for new longboard(even though it has lots of recycled superslide footage). And September sessions for new shortboard. I would like to hear what some of your favorites are. Thanks!

Don’t forget the excellent acting skills protrayed in “North Shore” (lol)

I have quite a few surf videos, and am still collecting. I was wondering > what your favorite surf movies/videos/dvd’s were. I still have a soft spot for the surf movie “Waves Of Change” by MacGilivray-Freeman. Some of the footage has surfaced in some of the Surfer’s Journal tv shows. Maybe it was just the times, maybe it was just me, and probably it was just a combination of both… I do wish somebody with massive surf-industry profits would commission tolerable musicians to redub the soundtracks so we could see those flicks on VHS or DVD now. Macgillivray and Freeman “A Cool Wave of Color”. 60’s, centered around Santa Barbara, convinced me that surfing was for me. “Natural Art” by Fred Windisch (sp?) early 70’s? about San Francisco, amazing Ocean Beach peaks, Keating on a surfboard controlled by a steering wheel and rudder, and a truly amazing cartoon. Saw it in near riot conditions at Giannini Jr. High.
