Hi all, I have tried searching and watching lots of vids but cant get a definitive answer. When doing glass on quad fins should the cloth patch wrap the rail or not? I’m doing 2 layers of 60z on each side of the fin so should one layer wrap the rail and the other not? Many thanks.

None of the patches should lap the rail. I am assuming that there is a hard edge in the tail of your board where the fins are. Put a piece of tape along that hard edge hanging down towards the deck. The patches will probably overhang the rail a little bit. After you laminate the patches to the fins and they are about 3/4 of the way cured, run a razor along the top of that tape line to cut the piece of the patch that overhangs. That is what I do anyway.
