iv,e been doing boards for over 30 years and i never have had this happen…iv,e been working for this kook…in o.side i,ve fix and made over 100 boards for this guy and when it comes to pay he strings me out… so i quit…my work speaks for it,s self…and is vary. good.so now the guy owes me 700.00 and can,t come up with it so i quit. then i go to hendigs shop after we talk for 2 weeks about work one day i start. and the next day…he lets me go for know reason.as well i ask him is it iv,e done something…wrong… he says it.s not my falt as well it personal?? what the hell that mean?? watch…out for these guys they are vary shadey…if any one has work please get a hold of…me…thank you vary much…

depending on your working relationship you should exercise your rights as an employee in california.

if you were an at will contractor (which i imagine most people ghost shaping are these days) the employer has a few weeks to pay you before you can call the labor board, this time deadline depends on how much notice you gave the employer and, again the working relationship. You dont have to do anything extreme, just reminding them that we all have to operate with in the law in this state might not be a bad idea.
