What would happen if you wrapped a board in tin foil and then laminated it normally? (PU board)
would it create a cool looking functional glass job, or would the resin and fiber glass not be able to bond to anything?

You’d need to bond the foil to the board first, but it would probaby delam…

the latter…
foil is used in making greenough-style spoons so that the glass shell can be easily popped off the mold.
If your after a silver board try adding paint fleck (the sparkly stuff added to resin floors) or metalic powders that get add to resin.
