I bought a lightly used 7’0" Hollingsworth Lightning Bolt single fin, 19 1/2" wide, 2 7/8" thick. It came with an 8 1/2" FU Dobson fin. It doesn’t look like the right fin. What fin should I get? I’ll be riding it in hollow waves.

The correct fin will depend on a couple of other measurements.
How wide is the tail 12" up?
What shape is the tail, round pin, square, diamond, etc?
How much do you weigh? As in, how hard can you push? This will help determine how big of fin you need to resist your side forces.
This is my Hotdog template. It is good for people up to about 160 lbs on boards that aren’t too wide.
I also have a slightly bigger version called the Semi which is about 8.5" deep. It is good for bigger guys.
