Ok I had not bought a drum in a while {2 years } and before it was like 690 but i got quoted 1.90 a pound so I am good with that. I know that your volume is probably higher than what i will start going through so that extra fifteen is no biggie.

just paid 1.86 a pound today for a drum of silmar 249a

1 gallon of resin is just over 9 pounds, so a 55 gallon drum weighs about 500 pounds.

At $1.90, you’re looking at around $950, and with the next two scheduled increases

(I’ve heard “did you guys get the letter” “yes, we got both of them” quite a bit),

$1000/drum is a likely to be exceeded in the near future…

…you can expect cloth to follow as well as abraisives.
