I think that where we lost a lot of people in the numerous changes…just too much unnecessary change.
Also…
The +1 and -1 button have also moved. For example they are in the old place on Yorky’s starting post (underneath ‘subscribe’) but they are in between the comment and signature of the reply postings.
And…
Advanced editor and buttons for links, pictures, etc seem to also be missing.
And…
Preview and picture uploading is not working either, at least for me…
I miss the views too!
Why doesn’t ‘‘someone’’ bring the views feature BACK ? Just askin’.
The latest change caused me to lose the quote button. Now, when I want to quote someone I have to copy/paste what they wrote and manually type the quote tags.
And, the latest one is even stranger. Whenever I log in I am directed to a blank page. I mean, a totally blank page. Empty, nada, just a white space without a single link, button, line of text, nothing. I have to click on my bookmark for the man page to resume.
This began about two days ago.
I realize the site isn’t a money maker so we get what we get and this isn’t a criticism of the powers that be here. This is just the buggiest and quirkiest forum software of any of the web forums I’ve used.
Since the last change I’ve lost a little hair and put on a bit of weight. It’s more than just a coincidence you know !!
Search function not working for me. Just get a small square with ads that I can’t scroll through.
Seaarch is working for me but it comes up like a pop-up window and grays out the previous window.
No search for me either.
i can’t post from my cell phone sometimes - extremely irritating!
edit to say: it took like 30 failed attempts to figure out it was because the text contained an emoticon.
what was blue is now red, whats going on?
