Got a nice inexpensive, new pump on ebay. Where can I buy inexpensive parts to start baggin? Switch, gauge, seem to be most expensive. everything else is pretty cheap. I checked out acp composites and there switches are $40 gauges $20. I only paid $40 for the pump so it seems $40 is alot for the switch. Especially since I have a dual hose pump I will probably need double of some stuff.
joewoodworker.com has good prices and service on those parts. Also plans for making a setup that cycles off and on to maintain vacuum level rather than just bleeding off (bleeder valve) the excess vacuum level the pump might make, if you don’t need it. If your gunna spend the money on a guage get the liquid filled ones that +/- 1%, that is what joe sells.
fiberglasssupply.com has a lot ton of vacuum supplies and board building supplies in general at good prices. Willing to talk to you about stuff over the phone too. I just got one of the switches from joe wood worker, it seems to be defective but he said he’d replace it, they’re only $25.
