im just about to find out about a possible job for november installing some artwork in the palace in Bahrain so the should earn me plenty to cover the flight side of things.
i had a quick look on craigslist last night for secondhand vans and i might even be able to squeeze to buying something cheap then reselling that too!

Big Sur is beautiful and campgrounds empty in winter. It will probably be wet, though. There is a projected El Nino which usually means lots of rain and big surf. The campgrounds in California are safe as long as you store your food properly to keep the wildlife out. I apologize if I gave the impression this is a dangerous place. It isnt(with a few exceptions that are easily avoided). Americans are generous and friendly, in general. That includes the people of Salinas. Mike

If you are willing to drive I think a road trip along the coast of France, Spain and Portugal would be one hell of a trip. I don’t know how much it would cost, but you could also cross over to Morocco…
