Which is the "Right" rocker?

i have a 6’6" x 20 1/2 x 2 3/4 that i want to shrink to 6’4" x 19 3/4 x 2 1/2 using akushaper. the nose rocker of the 6’6" is 5 3/8. when i adjusted the nose rocker of the 6’4" to meet the curve of the 6’6", the resulting rocker came out to 4 13/16, which, in my mind, basically means that i cut the 6’6" off at 6’4" and the rocker was 4 3/16.

which rocker is the “right” rocker: 4 13/16 or 5 3/8? is it going to make a noticeable difference in the way the board rides/catches waves?

thanks,

tommy

Two inches shorter?

Sound like it move the rocker down quite abit?

I will put it in shape 3D and see what it gives me to compare.

I Don’t have a calculator handy, but isn’t that about a 2.77 percentage decrease in size from 66 to 64. So click the nose rocker tab and then go down three clicks or 3 percent using the arrow keys. You probably want to do the same with the tail rocker tab.

Edit:

6’6": Nose rocker 5.38" Tail rocker 2.81" (current)

6’4": Nose rocker 5.25" Tail rocker 2.73" (desired)

6’2": Nose rocker 5.11" Tail rocker 2.66"

6’0": Nose rocker 4.97" Tail rocker 2.59"

etc.

thanks a lot claude
