Who makes the best Noserider?

Where do you guys think Hap fits into the picture? I think he has to be pretty well up there.

hank byzak/pure fun surfboards.583 westlake st. encinitas ca. he is the BEST!

If I am not mistaken, what you need in a good noserider is 50/50 rails. That will enable the board to be held down to the water a little easier.

Again,i couldnt stand it.Come on guy’s. The best noserider? Forget the bell’s and whistles. It’s the person on the board. Not the board. Lance Carson rode no rocker, plank’s,hanging um all the way to the pier. The best board is behind DOOR #1.

You got it! I know some surfers that could nose ride the door of 1974 Pinto and even roll down the window at the same time. It’s the rider…duh!

Wal-Mart is my first choice, followed closely by PayLess and Costco. Land’s End had a good one but they went belly-up. Any way you go, you’ll be noseridin’ by your second overhead wave.

It’s like asking “Who makes the best (name brand) board for no-paddle takeoffs?”

To find the best nose rider you will have to go through about 5 boards and a few thousand dollars before you work out what is right for you. Every person on swaylocks will recomend some different design than the last guy and thats the reality of surfboards, every wierd and wonderful design suits someone out there.
